Based in Manchester, Lancashire, we provide quality removals and storage solutions to the wider north-west area. P Fahey & Sons is a family-owned business that has been providing quick and stress-free removals and storage solutions for over 60 years and we’re extremely proud of our heritage.
Our History
The history of our company actually dates back to the 1890s, and starts with Patrick Fahey. He left his home in Ireland and travelled to Chicago, where he joined Wells Fargo Transport. While there, he trained the wild horses from the prairie in preparation for work on local and long distance transport and travel. This included transporting goods to and from the ports. If the horses were not trained properly then Patrick would have been dismissed. He was rightly proud that the horses were never returned as unfit for the job.
Our Company Today
Now, over 100 years later, the same ethos of quality and “getting it right first time” applies. We have the quality expected from a firm of our status and reputation. With associations from the British Standards Institution and the British Association of Removers, and an accreditation of quality systems, our credentials are exemplary.
