Step 1 – Free survey and quotation

 
Normally, one of our moving surveyors will visit your home to confirm an accurate quotation for your removal, without any cost or obligation.

Step 2 – Packing

Before packing begins our staff crew will first protect your home for the duration of the move. Our skilled crew have been specially trained in handling techniques and will load and secure your belongings with extreme care.

Step 3 – Transport and storage

 
If you are not ready for all your belongings to be moved right away, which can happen for a variety of reasons, P. Fahey & Sons offers long and short term storage.

Step 4 – Delivery and unpacking

At your new home, the move team will unpack and position your furniture where you want it.

P.Fahey & Sons is committed to moving you in a way that is designed to suit you. Our flexible packing options offer you a variety of choice and value for money.

This can include:

Owner packed service:

This is a service where we supply you with packing materials, to carry out the packing of household and personal effects. These are delivered to you door as soon as we receive confirmation that you will be using us for your house move. On the day we wrap all furniture and soft furnishings with woollen blankets.

Fragile packing service:

We will supply you with packing materials to pack most items yourself. Our professionally trained packing crew will at a convenient time (usually on the day of the move or the day before) safely pack your kitchen china, glassware, mirrors, large pictures and ornaments as discussed between our surveyor and yourself.

Full packing service:

If you simply want to leave it to the professionals, P. Fahey & Sons moving team will arrive (usually the day before the move) and safely pack everything in your home and prepare for the forthcoming move. This is the ideal package if you have little time to spare and it is designed to save you time and effort, this service also covers every item under the extended liability cover. On the day of the removal, the crew will bring along an adequate number of portable wardrobe cartons to transport your hanging garments so they arrive in a clean and crease free condition.
